Mahindra United College
At Mahindra United World College, we teach our students critical thinking so that they can engage with the world's diversity thoughtfully and positively. We bring together students from more than 75 countries to study foreign languages, sciences, performing and visual arts, mathematics, and sociology. The focus on academics is rigorous and challenging, but the focus on exchange across race, religion, ethnicity, class, caste, gender and nationality is just as important.
Our first class entered our doors in 1997 while the construction of the main campus was still underway. Each year we've enriched our campus and our program, developing the grounds into a biodiversity reserve, increasing course offerings, and adding to our facilities. We also partner with surrounding villages to support rural health and education.
Our 220 students live in residential houses and enjoy our home amenities, international cuisine cafeteria, sports facilities, medical centre, and social centre. We maintain four science laboratories equipped for physics, biology, chemistry, and general studies, a full-service IT centre, an art studio and music centre, and a library.
Our students study hard for the International Baccalaureate (IB), but they also participate in athletics and volunteer with local initiatives. We strive to provide our students with a well-rounded education that prepares them to lead a complex and diverse world.
